It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Anne Spratt on Wednesday September 3, 2025 at Muskoka Shores after a lengthy battle with dementia. Born in Toronto on May 16, 1931 Anne was 94.
Predeceased by her husband Terry in 2020, Anne is survived by her son Terry, daughter Linda (Scott) Cartwright, grandchildren Mike (Brooke), Matt (Brittany) and great grandchildren Riley and Graham. She is survived by her sister Mary and predeceased by her brother Bill.
She will be remembered for her generous spirit, her love of family and the countless memories she created with those closest to her. Anne was a devoted mother and grandmother whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone that knew her. She will be deeply missed.
She enjoyed hiking, camping, canoeing, snowshoeing and cross country skiing on her beautiful 40 acre property on Limberlost Road and in Algonquin Park with her husband Terry where they spent countless hours enjoying the beauty of the park and all it had to offer.
Cremation has taken place and in keeping with a Anne's wishes there will be no funeral service.
