On December 23, 2023, Brian Earl Seehaver, loving father , grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully with his niece Lauren Seehaver by his side in Port Carling, Ontario. Brian is survived by his daughter , Cheri-Lee Smith and husband Jason, his grandchildren Cordelia, Roman and Titan, his siblings Lawrence Seehaver, Bruce Seehaver, Anne Lamorie, Shirley Matthias and the late Phillip Seehaver and his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Aubrey and Helen Seehaver.
Brian was known as a quiet, caring, hardworking and helpful man with a great sense of humour. He cherished time with his daughter and grandkids. He enjoyed a lengthy career in welding and loved to hunt, fish and cook.
He will be greatly missed by his loving family & friends and always remembered in our hearts. We are sincerely grateful to the staff at the MAHC and Andy's House Hospice who gave such amazing care and to friends and family who have given us support and comfort in this time of loss.
Please join us for a Celebration of Life in honour of Brian, on Sunday January 7, 2024 at the Bracebridge Legion from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Brian's memory to Parkinson's Canada or Andy's House Hospice.
