It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Carol (Richmond) Houlton at the Algonquin Grace Hospice on February 10th, 2025 with family and her best friend at her side.
Carol is survived by her husband Scott, sons; Cameron, Tyler and Jesse; extended daughters Carrie, Sylvana and Larissa, Her mother Marilyn, grandchildren; Hudson, Anika, Blake, and McKenna, her siblings John (Stephanie ) and Barb (Ray); her bff Kathy and her dear and loving pet “Shady”. She will be sadly missed by her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends.
She is predeceased by her father Gerald.
In her working life, Carol was a mother first, realtor and in her leisure time enjoyed many activities such as skiing, figure skating, sailing/boating , travel and an avid history buff . We all knew she could cook but her baking was exceptional. She made the best butter tarts.
The family are planning two celebrations of life. The first celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday February 22, 2025 from 2-5 pm with a service at 3 pm. Location-Thamesford District Recreation Center, 85 Middleton St.Thamesford, Ontario. The second celebration will take place on the Kearney, Ontario property after black fly season. Date to be determined.
Carol wishes to be remembered with joy and laughter.
