Darrel Timothy Bechtel

               It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Darrel Timothy Bechtel at the Southlake Hospital in Newmarket, on Monday, March 3, 2025 at the age of 76.

Survived by his wife Diana, loving father to his children, Darren (Angie), David (Candace), stepsons, Casey Noble (Danielle), Christopher Noble (Martina), foster children Joshua and Geraldine Wheesk.  Cherished Grandpa to Madison, Beau and Dawson, Ethan, Harper, Mila, Arthur ,  Remi and Creed.                                                         

Sadly missed by his siblings Keith Bechtel, Judy Tofflemire and Terry Bechtel . Darrel will be sadly missed by his furbaby Pombi.

Darrel was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Jean (O’Malley) , siblings Greg, Reg, Brenda and Tim.

In his early years he enjoyed woodworking and  he always loved collecting tractors.  He felt you couldn’t have too many, if one broke down there was another to finish the job.  He was the guy to help out the neighbours plowing and lawn cutting.  He enjoyed hockey as well.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life service will be held at the Huntsville Legion, Veteran’s Way, on Saturday, March 15th from 2 until 4 p.m.
