Dave Bartok, son of Alexander and Corrine (Dorsch) Bartok of Orillia, both deceased, left this world and passed into the next life, leaving behind his wife Nancy Bartok and his children Tara Doyle (Ryan), Nick Bartok (Erin) and his stepchildren Andrew McGuey (Christa) and Adele Gant, as well as grandchildren Ayla, Serenity, Ledger, Keegan, Ethan, Huxton, Savannah and Levi. Also left behind are his sister Sandra Hetherington (Jim), his twin sister Dale Rowe (Bob), Uncle Gary Dorsch (Liz), sister-in-laws Marilyn Kheidr (Gary), Barbara Luckasavitch (predeceased), and nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
After 37 years as an Owner/Operator for Canada Bread, Dave worked as a PSW for Community Living for over 10 years in both Bracebridge and Huntsville, as well as helping Nancy with her business at Four Paws Inn boarding facility. His many hobbies were snowmobiling, boating, fishing, canoeing, and cycling. He also enjoyed travelling with his truck and RV to explore many destinations in both Canada and United States. Cheering on his favourite teams such as the Maple Leafs, the Blue Jays, the Buffalo Bills and the Toronto Argonauts was a special pastime as well. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his Miniature Schnauzer girls, helping to raise many litters of puppies over the years. Hopefully he will be having a huge reunion with them and his family members who have gone on before him and having lots of card games of bridge and cribbage as well. He had a long, full life and will be remembered fondly by many.
"Rest in peace, 'till we meet again".
