Elizabeth (Liz Demain

It is with much love and sorrow that the family of Elizabeth Demain (Liz) announces the peaceful passing on April 21, 2023, in her home with her family by her side.

Liz will be sadly missed by her loving husband Mark of over 45 years, her children Alan (Connie), Wendy (Kyle), Trevor (Shannan) and her much treasured grandchildren Brodie and Gryffin.  Dear sister of Sharon, Freda, Robin, Kelly and Kevin and sisters-in-laws Lynn, Sherry and Betty.  She will be missed by so many more family and friends.

Liz fought many hard-won health battles in her lifetime.  She always managed to defy the odds and return to spend more time with us.  She was a successful business partner with her husband for more than 27 years at Silversands Family Resort (Whiskey Jack Restaurant).  She also volunteered with the Almaguin District Snowmobile Club and the Kearney Dog Sled Races.

According to Liz's wishes in lieu of flowers please make a donation to the  "Sand Lake Log Church" cheques only.  Send to Sand Lake Log Church c/o Wayne Garrett, 53 Phair Ave, Wallaceburg, ON, N8A 2M4.  Cremation has taken place; a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
