Gary Louis Benedet

Obituary It is with sadness we announce the passing of Gary, on Sunday, October 20th, 2019 at the Huntsville Memorial Hospital. He is the beloved husband of Frances Benedet (Murray). Much loved father of Fanny (Steve) of South River and Joseph (Emily) of Whitehorse, Yukon. Gary will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Cole, Shaw (Missy), B.J.(Erica), Zach (Charlie), Jack and Henry and his great grandchildren Layla, Bronson, Mason, Jason, Olivia and Eliza. He will be missed by his siblings Dolores (Steve) and Paul (Debbie), his many friends, neighbours and other relatives.Gary was an avid Maple Leaf fan and discussions about hockey games will be missed by his friends and foes. In keeping with Gary's wishes cremation has taken place. If so desired, memorial donations to the Huntsville Memorial Hospital Fund or the Leukemia Society of Canada would be acknowledged as expressions of sympathy by the family.
