Gilles Belanger

Gilles Belanger after a courageously fought battle passed away on January 19th at the age of 66, at the Mattawa General Hospital with his loving family by his side.

Predeceased by his parents Raymond and Léonie Belanger, brother Guy and brother-in-law Dave Robinson.

Survived by his loving companion of 31 years Madeleine Janveaux and his children Tammy and Bradly and his furbaby “Puppy Monkey Patches” Also surviving to mourn his loss are brothers Ernel (Claudette), Emile and sister Gaetanne Robinson (Kari). Fondly remembered by the light of his life, his grandchildren Tessa, Leland and Ian.

Following cremation, a funeral mass will be held at St.Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in Mattawa on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Luncheon to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Northeast Cancer Centre, Sudbury would be appreciated.
