Gregory David Carins

Gregory Carins, affectionately known as Greg, passed suddenly and peacefully on Sunday, April 7, 2024 with his sister Ellen and her husband Rick by his side.  He was predeceased by his loving parents, Howard and Eleanore.

Greg is survived by his devoted brother, Mark Carins, and his sister Ellen, along with her husband Rick McCharles. He will be deeply missed by his nephews, Ryan McCharles and Jason (Danielle) McCharles, as well as his great nieces, Madison and Mia McCharles.

Greg's warm and loving spirit touched the loves of everyone he met.  He had a special place in his heart for his extended family at Community Living in Huntsville.

Greg had a passion for sports, particularly hockey, and was an enthusiastic supporter of the Huntsville Otters hockey team for many years.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Community Living Huntsville or the Huntsville Salvation Army.

A celebration of Greg's life will be held in May, with details to be announced in the Huntsville Doppler obityary section.  His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
