Harvey William Edison Broadbent

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father Harvey Broadbent. Predeased by his soul mate June of sixty one years. Now they are together again.

Dad was born August 23rd 1936 to parents Edison and Loreene the oldest of nine children

Predeceased by Brothers David (Sydney), Ivan( Sandford), Carl (Roger) and sister  Caroline.

Survived by sister Eileen and brothers Francis ( John), Harry (Kenneth) and Bruce (Raymond)

Dad aspired to be an automotive engineer but due to an injury to his Father, Dad had to enter the work force after two weeks of high school.  So like Dad he dug in and made a life for himself and worked his way up to being head sawyer at Muskoka wood, later Weldwood and Martin Lumber, after many years sawing he got a much better job as a Millwright and fulfilled his passion to fix things and make them better,

Harvey married June Godfrey in 1957 and has a loving family Gordon and Darlene, Edward and Shirley, Brenda and Gary, Darlene and Mark and Dwayne and Stephanie Grand children Tammy, Ben, Chris, Jonathon, Tonya, Garrett,  Nicole. Riley and Josh.  Great-grand children Kevin , Jordan, Natalie , Britny, Hailey  And Great Great Granddaughter  Kinsley.

Dad Enjoyed and very much appreciated his family as well as wood working and any thing mechanical. He loved passing on his knowledge and always had a story for anyone that would listen.

A big Thank You to Drs, Stewart and Dr Harrold and all the nurses and P.S.W.'s who  made Dad's last years comfortable and loving.

He will be greatly missed by all Family and a great many friends and acquaintances.
