It is with heavy hearts that the family of James Albert Ward announces his passing on March 18th, 2026.
Fondly known to many as Jim, Jimmy, Jim Bob. He was born on August 26th, 1952 to James and Mildred Ward.
A devoted partner to Arlene Goyea for 28 years. Jim is deeply missed by his long time companion Finnigan.
Jim will forever be loved and remembered by his siblings, Millie Hunter, Muriel (Gary) McCallum, Donnie Ward, Ronnie Ward (Cheryl), Gloria (Charlie) Madore, Gail Brush, Danny Ward (Donna), and his sister in law Barb Ward. He was predeceased by his brother
Archie Ward and brother in laws Herb Brush and Roy Hunter. He was a loving uncle, great uncle and great great uncle to his many nieces and nephews that will cherish their memories of him. Jim had a love for fishing and travelled to many lakes and rivers over the years trying to catch the perfect speckled trout! He was an avid gardener and spent many hours tilling, raking and weeding. He definitely had a green thumb which was evident by the amazing vegetables that he harvested year after year. Jim was a kind and caring man and would give you the shirt off his back. He will forever hold a special place in all our hearts. As per Jim's wishes, family and friends are invited to celebrate his life at a "sandwich party" on Saturday March 28th, 2026 from 1-4pm at the Novar Community Centre. His ashes will be buried with his grandparents at the Yearley cemetery at a later date.
