We are very saddened by the loss of Gaye who passed away September 20th 2024 at Fairvern Nursing Home.
Gaye is predeceased by her husband George and son Tim. She is survived by sons Kurt (Melanie), Scott (Kathy) and grandchildren Chase, Chantel and John.
She will also be dearly missed by her nieces Michelle, Leanne, Kathy and Kris.
Gaye was a school teacher for many years. In their second act her and George moved to the beloved Musselman cottage on Penn Lake.
Here they ran a B&B, where they hosted guests from all over the world. Those were very happy years for Gaye and George, sharing their love of the cottage and Gaye cooking wonderful breakfasts for their many guests. Gaye and George were wonderful hosts, they enjoyed nothing more than a room full of friends at fish frys, gourmet club dinners, eating, laughing and sharing stories.
She was always interested in people and had a gift for making you open up and always feel included. Gaye had many passions, cooking, gardening, books her number one passion was George and her boys. Gaye loved her family fiercely and was always there full of love, advice and ready to help.
A wonderful, interesting life well lived. We will miss you.
Many thanks to Fairvern Nursing Home for taking such wonderful care of Gaye.
