John Roxley Harris

With a heavy heart, I must announce the passing of John Harris on February 15th, 2021.  Beloved husband of Susanne Harris.  It was my privilage to have been his wife and  known him for over 40 years.  In the past few years he has battled multiple health issues but always with a spirit of optimism.  He will probably be remembered for his well trained dog "Jade", his funny hats and his quick wit.  He died peacefully after a day spent listening to some of the music he loved.  John was born in England and came to Canada at 17. He was a C.P.R. and First Aid Instructor.  He received a St John's Ambulance Award by the Right Honourable Lincoln Alexander for saving the life of a co-worker.  Because of Covid 19 Pandemic there will be no celebration of Life at this time.  If you would like to honour him, donations to the Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
