Joseph "Peter" Chicquen

It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Joseph "Peter" Chicquen following a lengthy battle with cancer on Saturday November 18, 2023.  He was born Oct 5, 1954.  Peter was the proud father of Joedy and Jammy Chicquen and grandfather to Anabelle, Ty and Taylor.  He is survived by his sisters Mary, Cora, Yvette and Leslie as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends.  Peter will forever be in our hearts and remembered for his love of music and kindness.  May we find strength in our memories.  A Celebration of Life will be held on sunday, December 10th, 2023  from 12-6 pm. at the Mattawa Legion.  Friends are welcome bring your instrument to come play a song in memory of Peter.
