After a short illness and subsequent cancer diagnosis, Ken went home to our Heavenly Father on February 9, 2023. Ken will be remembered by his nearest and dearest for his keen mind, ingenuity, and his passion for a project no matter how physically demanding. If the project did not require breaking a sweat, it did not meet the criteria for a "good project"Through the years Ken broke a sweat for the love of his daughters over and over with never a complaint. Whether it be electrical, plumbing, demolition, barn building, or woodworking he would find a way and get the job done. Ken's peace and relaxation came from walks in nature with his devoted dog, or scenic drives.
Ken is predeceased by Phyllis Goodfellow (Pinder), his mother Marion Goodfellow (Walker), his father Peter Goodfellow, his brother Grant Goodfellow and sister-in-law Sandra Goodfellow, his sister Alice Carberry (Goodfellow), and brother-in-law Alvin Carberry and brothers-in-law Tom Smith, Ronald Lanni and Garry Pinder.
Cherished memories will live on with his family, Laura Goodfellow, Leanne Goodfellow, Jason and Carolyn Vink (Goodfellow) and his grandsons Yeoung, Gryffin and Kade; sisters Eleanore Smith, Isabel Lanni, Lois and husband Louie Cunningham, and sister-in-law Marilyn Pinder.
A private memorial service will be held in Muskoka, Ontario to celebrate his life.
Our sincere thanks go to Huntsville Hospice for their expertise, and the kindness they showed our Dad and family. Donations in honour of Ken can be made to Hospice Huntsville .
