Patricia "Pat" Joyce McCarl

It is with sadness we announce the passing of  "Pat" Patricia Joyce McCarl on July 14, 2024 at her home surrounded by family.  She was the beloved wife of the late Stephen Aubrey McCarl and the much loved mother of Christine (Gary) Payne, and Joanne (Kristopher) Kirchner.   A treasured grandmother to Mitchell (Emili), Cameron, and Kira.  She will be missed by her siblings David Browning and Nancy (Paul) Dixon, her nephew Brett Dixon, and sister-in-law Sharon Cunningham.  She was predeceased by her nephews Michael and Douglas Shannon.

Mom enjoyed needlepoint, cooking, her favourite TV shows (Breakfast Television, Coronation Street and General Hospital).  She was also extraordinary trivia player.   She could give the best a run for their money.

Thanks to  (Ontario Home Care Team, Paramed, especially Sam and Brandy, and Closing the Gap, (Deanna, Amanda, Kandas, and Janet) for your great care of Mom.

In following her wishes, cremation has taken place.  There will be no service.

If so desire, memorial donations to the Huntsville Hospital Foundation would be acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
