Roger Allan Butler

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Roger Allan Butler, on November 13th, 2023.  Roger was born in Simcoe on February 14, 1954.   He will be missed by many, especially his five children, his grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  To Roger you didn't need to share DNA for him to consider you his own.  He touched the hearts of many friends he had at the Table Soup Kitchen Foundation who to him became considered a second family.

Roger spent many years driving cab for Al's Taxi until he retired.  The company now has a license plate "Roger 13" in his honour.

Please join Rogers friends and family at the Table Men's Hostel, 9 Hanes St, Huntsville, November 16th, 2023, for a bed dedication in his memory.  This will be followed by a gathering of friends and family at the Hidden Valley & Highlands Ski Chalet at 2:30 pm-4:30 pm. Celebration of Life at 2 p.m.  Rides will be available from The Table to those who need one.  This will be an informal drop in event to share memories of Roger Allan Butler.  The Table community kitchen will be providing food and beverages.
