Samuel Grisdale

Samuel Grisdale passed away peacefully at his home on Oct 7, 2021  in the arms of his loving wife of 22 years, Lori.  He was in his 61st year.

Dear father of Alain of Barrie and Samantha (Liam) of Barrie. Much loved son of Marion Grisdale of Bracebridge and George Grisdale of Woods Bay.  Sammy grew up in Woods Bay with his brother George Junior (Linda) and was always a favorite of his Uncle Pete and cousin Deborah.   Sammy will also be dearly missed by so many members of his extended family.  Many great memories were made with his brother Ross Forbes (Jackie), and sisters Monique Forbes (Craig), and Sherri Forbes (Will).  Sammy was also cherished by his many nieces, nephews and dear friends; who all touched his heart in so many ways.

Cremation has taken place and a Dedication will be held on June 12, 2022 at 12 Noon at the Woods Bay Cenotaph on Grisdale Rd with a Service to follow at MacTier Legion.
