Sean Mary Blaney passed away peacefully on August 29, 2022, at Andy's House in Port Carling. Born on May 15, 1956, in Northern Ireland, Sean immigrated to Canada with his family and settled in Bracebridge. Predeceased by his wife Debbie Lynn, parents Seamus and Mary; sisters Marie, Kathleen, Bernadette, Theresa and brother Kieran.
Sean will be sadly missed by his brother Dominic and sister Siobhan (Ray) and deeply missed by his nephews and nieces, Colleen (Declan), James, Shaleene, Raymond, Tara (Bruce), Shauna, Bradley (Gess), as well as his wider family circle.
Sean will be remembered for his quiet and calm character, sense of humour, and hard-working demeanour. He will be missed by many, including good friends Brad and Lisa, and his mates from McCoy's Panting and Decorating.
A very special thanks to the staff of Andy's House in Port Carling, who helped make Sean's wishes come true and gave incredible care to him in his last days, as well as our family; to Dr. Kirstein and Dr. Cross for always taking the time and helping all of us maneuver through this difficult journey.
