Shelley VanDerMeer Obituary

McDonald-Vandermeer, Shelley - Shelley passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 after a brief but valiant struggle with cancer in her 55th year. She was comforted in her final moments by her loving partner John McConnell and her beloved sons Alexander and Dylan Vandermeer. She also leaves to mourn her grandson Draven. Shelley is survived by her Uncle Joe McDonald (Diane), her aunt Rhonda Scott (Clifford - deceased) and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving mother Jean. Shelley will be forever remembered, with love, by her many friends. The family gratefully acknowledges the compassionate doctors and nurses who cared for Shelley at Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare in Huntsville and at the cancer center in Barrie. A private family service will be conducted in the Spring.
