Sonya Charmaine Geertsma

GEERTSMA, SONYA CHARMAINE
  June 6, 1988 - July 20, 2020

  Sonya Charmaine Geertsma passed away at home on July 20, 2020, in her
32nd year.

  Sonya is survived by her parents, Doug & Cheryl Geertsma; younger
sister Bianca Chabot (Corey Chabot) & her nieces Elliot & Hazel; Grandma
Mary Geertsma, Grandma Eileen & Grandpa Norm Ottaway;
  and several cousins whom she was close with and loved very much.
  She is predeceased by her
  Grandpa Jack Geertsma & Wayne Rowland.

  Sonya was born on June 6, 1988, in Newmarket, Ontario. She spent most
of her years living in Innisfil & Huntsville, Ontario, surrounded by
many friends and family.
  Many amazing memories were made while growing up with her sister Bianca
and her cousins.

  Sonya had a great sense of humour and could make anyone laugh.
  She was a genuine and warm-hearted, selfless person. Anyone that knew
Sonya understood her deep love of music, and how she used it to express
herself.
  Sonya was an absolutely beautiful soul who was taken way too soon, and
she never wanted to be defined by her addictions.

  An intimate Memorial Service with Sonya's family & friends was held on
August 29, 2020, in Huntsville, Ontario.
