It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susan Elizabeth Watson, who left us peacefully on September 21, 2025, at the age of 71. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, great aunt and friend, Susan's warmth, kindness, and unwavering strength touched all who knew her.
Born March 12, 1954, Susan lived a life full of love, laughter, and quiet grace, She was a woman of deep compassion, always ready with a kind word or helping hand. Her devotion to her family was the cornerstone of her life.
Susan was the proud and loving mother of Sandy Arruda, cherished mother-in-law to Shaun Arruda, and adoring grandmother to Samantha, whom she treasured beyond words. Her family was her greatest joy, and her love for them was unconditional.
Susan was a dear sister to Jim, Tom and Paul Slinger, and a caring sister-in-law to Ev, Fran, and Gayle. She was also a proud aunt to Trisha, Daniel, Anne, and Paul, a great aunt to Simon and Claire, always cheering them on and celebrating their lives and accomplishments.
Susan was a loyal and lifelong friend to Janet and Janice, whose friendship brought joy and companionship throughout the years.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her--in the stories shared, the traditions carried on, and the quiet moments where her presence will still be felt. She taught us the value of kindness, the strength and patience, and the importance of loving fiercely.
Susan's life was a testament of the power of love, family, and friendship. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit remains a guiding light.
