It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ted Douglas Fleger on January 31, 2026, at the age of 67. A man of quiet nature, Ted was happiest with a fishing line in the water—a passion that remains a favorite memory for his family and friends.

Ted was the devoted husband of Nicole Fleger, with whom he shared 35 years of marriage. He was the father of Brandie, Reg, and Jacquie (Devyn), and grandfather to Ethan, Sofia, Brooklyn, Sophia, Winston, Thaira, and Renley.

He is survived by his brother, Glenn, and will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Ted was predeceased by his father, Ivan; mother, Betty; and brother, Terry.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Rebecca Kent and Dr. O’Halloran as well as the staff at Huntsville Hospital for their exceptional care and for making Ted's last days peaceful and comfortable.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
